Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Worthship application and platform. By using Worthship, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Worthship Is

Worthship is a church management and worship planning platform. Worthship provides software tools to help organizations plan services, organize teams, manage song libraries, and coordinate worship ministries.

Worthship is not a music publisher, music distributor, copyright licensing organization, streaming service, or cloud storage provider for commercial media.

All songs, lyrics, chord charts, arrangements, documents, media, files, and other content uploaded to Worthship remain the sole property of the organization or the respective copyright owners.

Worthship does not claim ownership of any content uploaded by users.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights, licenses, or permissions required to upload, store, or share such content.

4. Organization Data Ownership

Each organization retains full ownership of its:

Worthship does not acquire ownership of any organization data. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit your content solely as needed to provide the service to you and your organization members.

5. Copyright & Licensing

Worthship does not provide music licensing, copyright licensing, public performance licensing, synchronization licensing, or any similar rights.

Organizations are solely responsible for obtaining any licenses required to use copyrighted musical works, including licenses from CCLI, OneLicense, publishers, or any applicable copyright owner.

Worthship does not require organizations to connect a CCLI account in order to use the platform. Whether an organization needs a CCLI license depends entirely on how it uses copyrighted works and applicable copyright laws.

6. Audio Files

Worthship does not host, stream, distribute, or provide commercial music recordings.

The platform is designed for worship planning, scheduling, and organizational management. Users may reference externally hosted media where supported, but Worthship does not maintain a library of copyrighted audio recordings.

If you believe content uploaded to Worthship infringes your copyright, please contact us at tech@codebrew.co.

Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, we may remove the allegedly infringing content while the matter is reviewed.

Worthship performs routine backups for disaster recovery. While we strive to protect all organization data, users remain responsible for maintaining copies of any critical information.

12. Artificial Intelligence

Worthship may use artificial intelligence features to assist users in organizing, formatting, searching, or analyzing organization-owned content.

We do not use your organization's private content to train public AI models without your explicit permission.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

14. Limitation of Liability

Worthship is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
